Scrum Master Certification Roadmap: PSM, CSM and Beyond

The Scrum Master path splits into two legitimate ecosystems. Scrum.org progresses from PSM I to PSM II and PSM III. Scrum Alliance progresses from CSM to A-CSM and CSP-SM.

The roadmap in one sentence

Choose a foundation → build real Scrum Master experience → advance only when the work justifies it.

Do not mix the ladders mechanically. Pick the ecosystem that fits your learning style and employer market, then build actual facilitation and coaching experience between levels.
